With warm feelings . . .

and cherished memories, we will soon say goodbye to our little one.

What began twenty years ago, during Danielle’s first pregnancy, as an idea called Kindekeklein, has grown into a beautiful adventure.

Now the time has come to say farewell to our child, and each of us is setting out on a new path: Danielle devotes herself wholeheartedly to mathematics tutoring, while Andreas follows his passion for sustainability by advising people on improving the energy efficiency of their homes.

We want to bring our company to a close in an organic way, with as little remaining stock as possible. That is why these items can now be purchased at very low prices. We expect to remain online for another one or two months.

It has been wonderful!

Hussh swinging and bouncing cradles - cribs - bassinets - babybeds

The Hussh Promise . . .

Swing and bounce

We all know the familiar image of a mother rocking her infant to sleep in her arms, instinctively moving her arms up and down and gently swinging her infant to and fro. Motions her infant remembers from the womb. This is precisely what the Hussh hanging cradle does: the cradle not only rocks your baby to and fro but also gently bobs up and down: a sleep-enhancing combination. When you nudge the bassinet, it’ll swing and bounce gently for a while. Great for falling asleep.

Day and night

Our cribs are not just for a nap during the day, but designed for day and night sleep. You can suspend your cradle indoors next to your bed at night and also in your living room or outdoors during the day.

From 0-9 months

Your baby can sleep day and night in the cradle until the age of about 7 to 9 months or the weight of about 20 lbs. As soon as your baby can turn on its side or push up his or her upper body, it's time to move into a cot.

Ergonomic

By easily adjusting the length of the ropes, you can set the height of the cradle to fit nicely next to your bed or for stand-up nursing

Sustainable

Our bassinets are made using only natural materials such as coconut, natural latex, recycled wool, felt, linen, 100% organic, unbleached cotton, hemp and unpainted wood.

No reflux

Reflux can be reduced considerably by slightly tilting the bassinet by adjusting the length of the ropes.

Safe & Sound

The Hussh hanging bassinet is produced in compliance with the Dutch Consumer Safety Institute and the European NEN-EN 1130 safety norms. Using coconut fibres in combination with wool for our mattresses is the safest choice for newborns, offering the best support and excellent breathability. A slightly concave top ensures an even more stable position for your baby. The use of 100% unbleached, organic cotton ensures that no pesticides were used in the production.

Testimonials

Hello Andreas

Hello Andreas! I just wanted to write to let you know how much our son loves his cradle. The soft bouncing/rocking motions help him back to sleep often. We're sad that he's going to outgrow it soon but very happy we found your product to use while he was teeny tiny. Thanks again for making such a great product.

Thanks!

Danielle, We've been just loving the cradle; our little Wren has even slept all through the night a few times, something that never happened this early with our other three. Thanks!

Such a lovely cradle

I bought this cradle for my twins. Having a small bedroom I needed something that would not take a lot of space and at the same time should be comfortable for babies and of good quality. Today my daughters are 3,5 months and they feel well sleeping or having some fun in this nice cradle. All our guests found it exceptional and not ordinary as idea 💡. I am really happy having made this choice. Very good product. I recommend it for sure:) Bien cordialement,

Alexandra and Barbora

Dear Andreas, we just came home from the hospital and here is the first photo of our girls Alexandra and Barbora in their beautiful cradle sleeping peacefully. Thank you very much.

New arrival

Hi Andreas! Here is a video of our new arrival enjoying a nap in her hanging cradle. She sleeps in 3-4 hour segments at night (always) and has been in the cradle since we brought her home from the hospital. She is only 3 weeks old!!! I am convinced that the cradle is responsible for her good sleep and her being a really mellow baby… she isn’t fussy at all! Not only is it functional but it looks great in our home. It’s a real work of art! Thank you Hussh Cradles!! I included a pic of myself and her as well:) Thanks for everything!

We really like it!

When the weather is as nice as this, we simply hang Mara's cradle in the garden! She's asleep in no time. The breeze puts her to sleep right away. One more thing: the swinging cradle does wonders for cramps. And when she wakes up in the middle of her sleep, she swings herself back to sleep with a yelp. Her cry causes the cradle to rock! Ideal!
